Your wrist is surrounded by tendons that support it. The narrow space between the tendons and the wrist is called the carpal tunnel. With in this tunnel there are nerves that connect to all your fingers. When the wrist is in a constant state of awkward positioning and repetitive motion these nerves become stressed. Resulting in tendon inflammation, burning sensations, and eventually (atrophy) which is a degeneration of the hands and muscles.

How can I diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome ?

To diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome we should examine the wrist for swelling, warmth, tenderness, deformity, and coloration. Tapping the front part of the wrist can reproduce the tingling of the hand and is often called ( Tingles sign of carpal tunnel ).
